A few days ago, my friend showed me photos from her school years. Such a fun process to jump into someone’s “vintage years” and see those less perfect moments. It took me somewhere. Somewhere familiar and relaxed. Childhood, and looking at my parents’ wedding photos with my grandma.

So, I really wanted to see if I could transfer what I felt through these old photos to my current work. Since I haven’t blogged in a while, I am super excited to have these on here as my first post of 2019. It took me a few hours to go through my archives and find images that would have some amateur feel to them.

They are not in any order, as they were taken on a few different weddings. Some didn’t even make it to my clients’ final gallery, that’s how rookie, random or technically not perfect they were. But I’ve been keeping these images for a few years now and really wanted to come up with a creative project to use them in a new way. So far, love how merging old with new looks and feels!

Software I used to edit is called ToyCamera Analog Color. It’s older than Instagram filters, a little frustrating at a first few uses as you have to tweak everything yourself but if you master it, it’s fun for adding something extra to your style.

Anyway, here’s my 2018 collection with grandma’s feels! lol
